Melbourne is getting ready for Christmas next month and those enjoying a tour of Australia this December will find plenty of good cheer at these events.
A classical Christmas concert with the National Boys Choir at Hamer Hall will be a fantastic way to celebrate the festive season on 21st December. The renowned choir are set to perform a diverse range of songs, from Mozart classics and traditional carols to Qantas TV commercials.
Patricia Piccinini will be holding a talk about large-form artwork at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art on 2nd December whilst she is town with the famous Skywhale. Robyn Archer, who commissioned the piece, will also be discussing her love of oversized art.
The talented circus stars of Australia will be showing off their skills at the Circus Showcase 2013 from 4th-7th December. The 23-strong cast is made up of students studying a degree in Circus Arts who will be carrying out tricks and flips that will be amazing, beautiful and entirely surprising.
There’s nothing ordinary about our tours to Australia – in fact, we describe them as extraordinary. A holiday to Australia promises many once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like flights over the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Opera House. And you'll be glad to know that every fantastic experience Down Under is included in the price.
If you’re looking for a fully-inclusive holiday to Australia, you’ll be pleased to find that on our tours, there are no hidden extras. And to ensure your tour of Australia is nothing short of amazing, we include all breakfasts, many other meals, all accommodation, all tips, and every spectacular experience. There really is no better way to explore Australia.
As well as being an Australian-owned company, the friendly travel professionals in our UK office have all travelled extensively and are even accredited Australian Specialists themselves. And at each destination you visit – from Sydney to Uluru, Tasmania to the West Coast – you can rest assured that you’ll be guided by local experts every step of the way.
From luxury hotels in the heart of the city, like the Four Seasons Sydney - to tranquil retreats like El Questro Emma Gorge resort nestled within the natural beauty of the Cockburn Ranges - we handpick your accommodation to ensure that it’s as varied as it is brilliant. Throughout your Australian adventure, your hotels allow you to enjoy the best of each destination.
We’re proud to call our Australia tours award-winning. We've been named Luxury Magazine’s ‘Best Luxury Tour Operator’, and ‘Best Small Tour Operator to Australasia’ in 2012 at the British Travel Awards. The only thing better than winning these awards is knowing that 99% of Scenic Tours guests who travelled to Australia in 2012/13 would recommend us to their friends.
On a Scenic Tours holiday to Australia, we count dining as an experience. That's why as you explore Australia’s sights and sounds, you’ll sample its fantastic cuisine too. For example, in Australia’s Outback you’ll enjoy a Sounds of Silence dinner, where you’ll feast on Australian fare and sample the country’s great wines, with a sunset over Uluru as the backdrop.
To fully enjoy your dream holiday to Australia, you need freedom to explore. So that you can tailor your tour, we have Scenic FreeChoice which offers you an array of activities to choose from at no extra cost. These range from a tour of Uluru on a Harley Davidson and sailing an America’s Cup yacht on Sydney Harbour, to a hot air balloon flight over the Atherton Tablelands.
Spectacular and inspiring experiences
Our Australia tours are packed with a range of unforgettable experiences, many of which are exclusive to Scenic Tours: from awe-inspiring flights like a sea plane over Sydney’s magnificent harbour, to superb dining experiences such as an Outback dinner with Ayers Rock as a backdrop.
Our Scenic FreeChoice programme, which includes activities such as exhilarating hot air balloon flights and scenic rail journeys, offers you the opportunity to tailor your touring experience to suit your personal preferences - at no extra cost.
In addition to these many remarkable experiences, our Scenic Enrich programme offers an exclusive range of activities that take you one step further, and enable you to experience a destination in a spectacular fashion or to truly immerse yourself in unique local cultures and to be part of the experience rather than simply being an observer.
