Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Amsterdam (D)
Welcome to Amsterdam, a fascinating and compact city of picturesque canals. A Scenic Tours representative will personally greet you and arrange your transfer* to your luxury Scenic Tours ‘Space-Ship’. On board be warmly welcomed by our dedicated crew. Tonight enjoy a Welcome reception with your fellow travellers.

Day 2: Amsterdam (FB,L,D)
This morning choose from the following Included SCENIC FREE CHOICE Tours: (1) A guide tour of Anne Frank House and city tour; or (2) A guided bike tour; or (3) A sightseeing canal cruise. For the more adventurous choose our SCENIC FREE TIME: self guided walking tour with your own personal audio guide. This evening join your fellow passengers in the Crystal dining room for the Captain's welcome dinner.

Day 3: Arnhem - Wesel (FB,L,D)
Disembarking our cruise in Nijmegen, journey to Arnhem and the 5,500-hectare De Hoge Veluwe National Park, home to many endangered plant and animal species. Our Included tour will visit the Kröller Müller Museum featuring works of Picasso and Van Gogh and Europe’s largest sculpture garden. Crossing the border in to Germany you will rejoin your cruise in Wesel.

Day 4: Bonn (FB,L,D)
Today we visit Germany’s former administration and political centre, Bonn, where you will enjoy an Included sightseeing tour and walk through the Old Town. Former capital of Germany between 1949 and 1991, it is also the birthplace of the great Ludwig van Beethoven. Tonight we set sail for Cochem.

Day 5: Cochem (FB,L,D)
A medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle river, Cochem will make you feel as if you are stepping directly into a fairy tale.  On your Included guided tour visit Reichsburg Castle, soaring above the township.

Day 6: Bernkastel - Trier (FB,L,D)
This morning our ship docks in Bernkastel and we journey to one of Germany’s oldest cities, Trier, where you will stroll through history to sites dating back to the Roman times, such as Dom St. Peter Cathedral. After lunch on board your ship, join your local guide as you discover Bernkastel, with its famous medieval market square and reputation for great wine. Tonight we overnight onboard in Bernkastel.

Day 7: Luxembourg (FB,L,D)
Journey today to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Luxembourg is one of three capital cities to house administrative offices for the European Union. Join your guide on an included walking tour highlighting Luxembourg’s well preserved old town.  Enjoy leisure time back in Bernkastel before setting sail along the beautiful Moselle River where you can sit back and relax on your own private balcony or one of three viewing areas onboard.

Day 8: Rhine Gorge - Rüdesheim (FB,L,D)
Today we cruise through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, where you will learn about the legend of the Lorelei and fall under the spell of the magic Rhine Valley with its stunning vistas of castles perched above the steep vine-covered slopes.  We stop in the heart of Rhine country to discover the romantic winemaking town of Rüdesheim. Enjoy free time to explore the narrow allies, quaint little shops and wine bars or perhaps try the famous Rüdesheim Coffee.

Day 9: Heidelberg (FB,L,D)
Heidelberg is one of Germany’s most beautiful towns. Today you will have the opportunity to visit Germany’s first and one of Europe’s oldest universities on your Included guided city tour. On our full day excursion you will have the opportunity to ascend up the Heidelberger Schloss Castle or you may wish to discover more of the city at your own pace with our SCENIC FREE TIME: self guided audio tour.

Day 10: Baden-Baden (FB,L,D)
After the ship docks in Gambsheim, we take an excursion to the exquisite town of Baden-Baden located in the Black Forest. On your Included guided tour visit the 250 year old Casino, the oldest and largest in Germany and said to be one of the most beautiful in the world. Baden-Baden famous for its thermal hot springs, has attracted celebrities, royals and the wealthy since the 19th Century.

Day 11: Strasbourg (FB,L,D)
A taste of France awaits you as we cruise to “the crossroads of Europe”, Strasbourg. SCENIC FREE CHOICE offers the following Included tours: (1) A walking tour of Strasbourg, including La Petite France; or (2) An excursion to the French Alsace Wine Region, including a tasting. Day 12: Black Forest (FB,L,D)
A truly magical experience awaits you today as you journey to the majestic Black Forest for a full day excursion. SCENIC ENRICH Start the day with a baking demonstration of the world famous Black Forest cake, including a tasting and coffee at the open air museum of Vogtsbauernhof in the heart of the Black Forest. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before a visit to the World’s largest Cuckoo clock and Germany’s highest waterfalls.

Day 13: Basel (FB,L,D)
Enjoy time this morning on your private balcony or on the top sun deck as we glide through to the Swiss town of Basel. Discover on our Included guided tour the Marktplatz, with its daily fresh food markets and the striking Rathaus, Basel’s City Hall.

Day 14: Basel (FB)

After breakfast this morning it is time to farewell your fellow passengers and disembark the cruise. Our Scenic Tours Representative will take* you to Zurich airport.
