Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: to day 5: Depart the UK for your pre-tour stopover
DAY 1 | DEPART FROM THE UK
Fly with QANTAS or British Airways from London Heathrow, to an included three night stopover destination of your choice. Connecting flights from regional airports within the UK can be arranged at the special price of only £95 per person.
Meals: On board full meal and complimentary bar service

DAY 2 |ARRIVE AT YOUR CHOICE OF STOPOVER
Choose from three outbound stopovers: Singapore, Hong Kong*, Bangkok**

Arrive at your selected stopover destination for your three night stay - all included in your holiday price. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure.
Meals: On board full meal service and complimentary bar service

Please note: Days 1 - 6 are based on stopping in Singapore for three nights. The itinerary for the included Hong Kong* and Bangkok** stopovers are slightly different, due to airline flight schedules.

* Hong Kong: If you choose Hong Kong as your included stopover, your itinerary will be as follows: Day 1 - Depart UK. Day 2 - Arrive Hong Kong and transfer to the hotel for a two night stay. Day 3 - Included city tour and free time to explore Hong Kong. Day 4 - Free time to explore until afternoon flight to Perth. Day 5 - Arrive Perth early in the morning. Remainder of day is free to explore. Day 6 - follows the itinerary as above.

** Bangkok: If you choose Bangkok as your included stopover, your itinerary will be as follows: Days 1 - 4 follow the itinerary as above, spending three nights at your Bangkok Hotel. Day 5 - early afternoon flight via Singapore arrives into Perth late in the evening, requiring an additional night accommodation (charged at £75 per person). Day 6 - follows the itinerary as above.

DAY 3 | SIGHTSEEING
After a full buffet breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of your stopover destination, taking in its many spectacular sights. On returning to your hotel, the rest of the day is free to relax or further explore the city.

DAY 4 | FREE DAY
After breakfast, the day is free to explore at your leisure, shop or just relax and make use of your hotel’s facilities.

DAY 5 |ONWARDS TO AUSTRALIA
A full buffet breakfast will be served at your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure until we transfer you to the airport for your onward flight to Perth. Check in and depart for your overnight flight to Perth.

Day 6: Arrive Perth (D)
Welcome to Australia! On arrival in Perth we transfer you to the your hotel for a three night stay. The hotel is in a perfect location, in the heart of the city and just a short stroll from the Swan River. Tonight meet your Tour Director and fellow guests for our welcome dinner.

Day 7: Perth
After breakfast, we take a city tour of Perth, Australia’s sunniest city, beautifully set on the banks of the sparkling Swan River. We will visit Kings Park and the Botanical Gardens. With its remarkable expanses of unique bushland, stunning views overlooking Perth, tranquil parkland and botanical gardens, the park is the most popular visitor destination in Western Australia. We then head to the coast to experience the beach lifestyle enjoyed by so many Australians. The tour finishes at the iconic Swan Bells, one of Perth’s most unique and must see tourist attractions. The remainder of the day is free to explore.

Day 8: Perth (FB)
Today choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) Cruise and tour of Rottnest Island; or (2) Cruise to Fremantle, including a tram tour of the port city and lunch at the world famous Fremantle Harbour; or (3) Cruise along the Swan River and take lunch before visiting an underground wine cellar; or (4) See kangaroos, koalas and many more of Australia’s unique wildlife in Perth Zoo. Also includes ferry to Fremantle.

Day 9: Perth - Margaret River
Today we travel to Margaret River, an area of great scenic beauty and one of Australia’s premier wine growing regions. En route, we stop at Bunbury Dolphin Discovery centre to see wild Dolphins in their natural habitat*. Over 100 dolphins live in the bay and groups of them regularly visit the shallow waters in front of the centre. We then stop at Busselton, home of the Southern Hemisphere’s longest jetty, overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. We continue to Yallingup, which is the gateway to the Margaret River region. The evening is free to relax or take a trip into the charming township of Margaret River on our complimentary shuttle service.

Day 10: Margaret River & The Southern Ocean (FB,HL)
After breakfast we travel to Augusta and the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. We continue to ‘Tall Timber’ country and the Boranup Karri Forest, where amazing vistas across the forest and the coastline may be enjoyed. SCENIC ENRICH - Margaret River is one of Australia’s premier wine regions. And what better way to experience the beauty of this area (and the quality of its food and wine) than with a lunch at one of Margaret River’s first class wineries? After lunch we further explore the area before our final afternoon stop at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. This evening, the complimentary shuttle service is available to whisk you into Margaret River, or you may prefer to relax in your apartment - perhaps enjoying a bottle of something purchased earlier in the day.

Day 11: Margaret River - Alice Springs (FB)
After breakfast, we transfer to Perth for our flight to Alice Springs, where we stay for two nights. This evening we have left free for you to enjoy ‘The Alice’, as this town is affectionately known.

Day 12: Alice Springs (FB,D)
Today, choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) Tour Alice Springs and the West MacDonnell ranges, including Standley Chasm, Simpsons Gap, the School of Air and the Royal Flying Doctors; or (2) Explore Alice Springs Desert Park on a self-guided walk (with audio headsets); or (3) Explore Bond Springs Cattle Station and view heritage listed early pioneers buildings. This evening choose one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE dining options: (1) Dine at Red Ochre Grill and then experience the Outback at the Sounds of Starlight theatre; or (2) Sample true territory tucker at Bojangles Saloon and Dining Room; or (3) Enjoy Asian cuisine in Hanuman Restaurant, located inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Day 13: Alice Springs - Uluru (Ayers Rock) (FB,HD)
This morning we travel through the desert landscapes of Australia’s Red Centre to the Olgas, or Kata Tjuta, which is the Australian Aboriginal name meaning ‘many heads’. This amazing group of 36 large, domed rock formations have been naturally carved by the elements. We continue to your hotel for a one night stay. SCENIC ENRICH - our dinner tonight is the Sounds of Silence experience, an evening of dining under the Outback sky. As the sun sets, guests feast on a gourmet barbecue, served with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks. After sunset, attention turns to the sky as our star talker takes guests on a tour of the southern night sky.

Day 14: Uluru (Ayers Rock) - Cairns (FB)
Today, choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) Harley Davidson ride through the Outback in the capable hands of an experienced guide; or (2) A Camel ride through the sand dunes of the Australian Outback; or (3) Sunrise at Uluru, including a base tour, a drive around the Rock, breakfast overlooking Uluru and a visit to the Cultural Centre. We then transfer to the airport for our flight to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland. On arrival, we take a brief orientation tour en route to your hotel where we stay for three nights. Your hotel is centrally located, overlooking beautiful Trinity Inlet and Cairns Marina, and close to Cairns’ restaurants and shopping district.

Day 15: Cairns (FB)
Today choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) A hot air balloon flight over the Atherton Tablelands; or (2) Take the Kuranda scenic railway through Barron Gorge and return by Skyrail; or (3) Explore Trinity Inlet and a crocodile farm on a calm water cruise; or (4) Visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park (includes lunch); or (5) Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.

Day 16: Cairns (FB)
Today is free for you to make the most of the many attractions in and around Cairns or to relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 17: Cairns - Thala Beach (FB,HD)
Today we transfer to Thala Beach Lodge for a two night stay. This award winning
eco-resort is set overlooking the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and nestled within the hilly terrain of World Heritage Listed rainforest. We stay in beautifully appointed individual bungalows, with golf buggies available to assist passengers if required. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing on the secluded beach, exploring the tropical surroundings or take the complimentary shuttle bus to the pretty village of Port Douglas to explore its boutique shops and restaurants. Tonight, we enjoy a true taste of Australia with a fabulous ‘Australiana’ dinner, which showcases this country’s finest and freshest ingredients.

Day 18: Great Barrier Reef (FB,L)
No trip to this area would be complete without a visit to the Great Barrier Reef. We travel to Port Douglas and take a high speed catamaran to our pontoon, moored on the Outer Barrier Reef. From the pontoon guests may enjoy snorkelling (under supervision and all equipment provided), coral and sea life viewing from a semi-submersible boat, and fish and coral viewing from an underwater observatory. A delicious smorgasbord lunch is served on board the pontoon. SCENIC ENRICH - One of the highlights of today will be an included short helicopter flight over the Outer Barrier Reef. This scenic flight will give you a bird’s eye view of one of the ‘Seven Natural Wonders of the World’ and is sure to provide many fantastic photo opportunities.

Day 19: Thala Beach - Melbourne (FB)

Today, we transfer to the airport for our flight to the capital of Victoria, Melbourne. On arrival, we transfer to your hotel centrally located in Melbourne, for a three night stay. The remainder of the day is free to explore.

Day 20: Melbourne (FB)

Today choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) See Australia’s wildlife at Phillip Island and the penguin parade; or (2) Tour the magnificent Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles; or (3) A guided tour of Melbourne Cricket Ground; or (4) Visit Ramsey Street on the Official Neighbours Ultimate Tour.

Day 21: Melbourne (FB,HD)
A free day in Melbourne to spend as you please. This evening, choose one of the following SCENIC FREE CHOICE dining options: (1) Early evening dinner on-board the historic Melbourne Tramcar; or (2) First class dining at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Day 22: Melbourne - Sydney (FB,HD)
After breakfast, fly from Melbourne to Sydney. En-route to Sydney, visit Bondi Beach for an insight into one of Australia’s favourite pastimes. Continue to your Heritage Listed hotel for a four night stay. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Sydney’s world famous harbour. Early this evening, enjoy incredible views of Sydney Harbour’s iconic sights and magnificent mansions as we take a fabulous cruise including dinner, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks.

Day 23: Sydney
Today choose from one of the following included SCENIC FREE CHOICE activities: (1) Sail an America’s Cup yacht - no experience necessary; or (2) Sydney Opera House tour; or (3) Visit Sydney Wildlife World and Aquarium; or (4) Whale watching cruise (May - December); or (5) A guided bicycle tour around Sydney; or (6) Learn Aboriginal history with a Tribal Warrior Cruise (operates on day 24 therefore day 23 will be a Free Day); or (7) Sydney Tower Eye and Skywalk.

Day 24: Sydney (FB)
Today is free to explore Sydney at your leisure. Your Tour Director will be on hand to help plan your day of sightseeing in this fantastic city.

Day 25: Sydney (FB,HD)
SCENIC ENRICH - This morning we are transported to Rose Bay where we board a seaplane for a scenic flight. Taking off from the bay, you’ll soar over the sandstone cliffs at the entrance to Sydney Harbour where you can see surfers and beachgoers far below. We return to Rose Bay via the inner harbour for a circuit above Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge (weather dependent). SCENIC ENRICH - Tonight enjoy your farewell dinner in an award-winning restaurant, from which you can admire the stunning views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

Day 26: Sydney - Your Flight Home (FB)
Your tour concludes this morning and you’ll be transferred back to the airport for your flight home.
